One of the largest capacity hydraulic winches available on the rental market, our 320Te WLL winch recently went to work with Saipem on the Absheron Early Production System (EPS) Project, South of Baku.
Lowering a 220Te subsea structure to the Caspian seabed at a depth of 470m, the Motive work scope supply includes additional 63Te and 25Te SWL winch packages, along with multi-disciplined Motive Technicians for installation and 24hr operating.
The project involves the installation of wellhead equipment and a flowline that will run from a single production well to a dedicated receiving platform.
Designed and built by Motive at our Aberdeenshire headquarters in 2020, the 320Te constant tension winch features a dual-motor system providing back-up contingency, and is equipped with PLC automated spooling gear.
