Following the supply of a full back-deck spread for a cable lay installation, Motive was again commissioned by the subsea contractor to provide an urgent recovery solution when the product suffered damaged subsea.

CUSTOM-MANUFACTURED REEL
Motive offered a 200Te Spooling Winch and custom-manufactured reel with a core diameter of 2.8mtr to accommodate the minimum bend radius of the product to be recovered.
Our in-house team fully designed, engineered, and loaded out a suitable reel, from raw steel through to end product within just 7 days.
This project demonstrated Motive’s ease and ability to deliver a technical solution, working expertly to bring the project from concept to reality within an extremely limited timeframe.
