Supporting our Veterans with Erskine Firewalk

Team Motive tackle fire for Erskine

It’s not every day you walk over hot coals!

Team Motive were honoured to once again have an opportunity to support veterans charity Erskine, taking part in their first-ever fire walk on Friday night, arranged by local Erskine Community Fundraiser Michael Jamieson and hosted at Lochter Activity Centre, Oldmeldrum.

Motive trio (L-R) Shona Burr, Dave Acton, and Heather Bruce undertook the challenge raising £889 for the charity, a sum then matched by Motive Offshore Group.

A massive thanks to all our friends, family, and colleagues who gave so generously to support the cause.

It was a brilliant experience (so good the team went around several times), with the night raising a fantastic total of £6,538 overall.

Great atmosphere with everyone cheering each other on. 10/10 would recommend.

Well done to all Friday night's Firewalkers! 🔥

Erskine has been caring for Scotland's veterans of all ages since 1916, providing person-centred care tailored to the needs of each individual Veteran.

Support is provided via four Care Homes, a Veterans Village comprising 44 cottages, an Activities Centre, five Assisted Living Apartments and 24 Transitional Supported Apartments.
