Sophy Bryan - Operations Support

Sophy Bryan joined the Spooling & Inspection team at Motive in September 2019.

Having just left school, Sophy was considering going to university to study either Business Management or Legal Services. However, on seeing the opening with Motive for an Administrative Assistant Sophy felt it was as an ideal opportunity to build a career within an industry that really appealed to her.

I studied various higher subjects at school however, the qualifications that have benefited me the most throughout working at Motive are business management/administration, and English. It was an exciting opportunity to enter an industry that was completely new to me and at Motive I really do learn something new every day. I’m able to put this knowledge into my work - this includes being shown how equipment is operated, what it is used for, and why!

In 2021 Sophy moved into the position of Operations Support where her main responsibilities include liaising with clients, maintaining our CRM system, and preparing sales quotations and specifications.

The best thing about working at Motive is that I am given the opportunity to learn daily and am able to grow within the company. I started out doing administrative work and am now trusted liaising with clients and running with work scopes. It is a genuinely friendly and positive environment and I have a great team of experienced colleagues who pass down their knowledge, helping me be stronger in my role.

Sophy has made fantastic progress within a short time at Motive. This has been achieved through her commitment to learning and excellent work ethic. She is not afraid to challenge herself and I look forward to watching her continued progression within the company.
