Megan Masson - Management Accountant
Megan joined Motive in 2018 having completed her studies at NESCOL, earning an HND in Accounting and Finance.
During her course Megan worked for a local Wetherspoons, moving up to the position of Shift Leader where she gained valuable customer service and leadership experience in a busy environment. Megan was keen to progress her career within Accounts and made the move into a Trainee Finance Assistant role with Motive Offshore Group.
Megan’s role initially focused on the processing side of the finance department, with her later becoming responsible for the sales invoicing and credit control for the Group.
My role has drastically changed since I first started, although I am still involved in a lot of the day-to-day processing, sales invoicing, and credit control. Throughout my time at Motive, I’ve had a great opportunity to explore all areas of the Finance department functions.

The Finance department has traditionally been a smaller team but has steadily doubled in size to support the continued growth of the company.
When I joined Motive, it was a smaller company than it is now, so I’ve been very fortunate in having the opportunity to get to know everyone across the different departments and watch the Group grow – it really is a great chance for anyone out there currently looking to join a successful company.
In 2021 Megan was promoted to the position of Management Accountant for the Spooling & Inspection Division, with responsibility for all aspects of month-end reporting.
It has been a pleasure to watch Megan grow and develop as we have changed her role from accounts payable through billings and credit control, to her current management accountant role for Spooling & Inspection.
She approaches all her allocated tasks with tenacity and prides herself in meeting deadlines. I fully expect Megan to continue to thrive and progress within the Group.
