Motive responds to Americas market demand with $10M revenue growth goal
08 AUGUST 2024
The company announces new hire and revenue targets as it doubles down on transatlantic growth.
Motive has appointed Jonathan Watt as Americas Regional Manager in response to rising market demand. As part of its global growth strategy, the company expects the Americas region to turnover $10M in the next 3 years.

The ramp up of energy in the Americas has driven a significant uptake of Motive’s engineering, certification, inspection and rental services, with oil production expected to rise in the US to 13.65M bpd in 2025 and 60% of renewable power generation expected by 2030. In response to this demand Motive has expanded its Americas foothold with Jonathan Watt, at the helm.
Watt, who brings more than 17 years of offshore energy experience to the role, will be based in Houston and is responsible for leading the Americas market and driving business growth. He will play a major role in providing local client support, building Motive’s rental business, and doubling its local expert team by 2025. His combination of leadership, sector expertise, and commercial acumen makes him an ideal fit for the position, backed by his recent senior roles at Acteon Group, where he undertook positions as Commercial Director, rising up to Managing Director.
