This week, Motive was proud to participate in the UK in Brazil O&G Decommissioning delegation in Rio de Janeiro, hosted by the UK Department for Business and Trade (DBT) in collaboration with Santander.

The trip presented a valuable platform for Motive’s Chief Operating & Financial Officer Declan Slattery, Americas Regional Director Jonathan Watt, and South America Operations Manager Luis Ferrari to engage with decommissioning operators. Sharing expertise and exploring opportunities, discussions centred around tackling the supply chain challenges that lie ahead in Brazil’s evolving oil and gas decommissioning sector.
Since establishing the Motive Do Brasil Ltda base in Rio de Janeiro last year, Motive has been enhancing the availability of its industry-leading equipment and expertise across the Americas to support in-country abandonment and decommissioning projects with a wider range of solutions. Motive’s manufacturing and refurbishment services are particularly well-suited to assist in dismantling, removing, or repurposing aging assets.
