After crossing the finish line Team Motive entered the Kiltwalk village where they were welcomed with food, drinks and live music. The event was really well organised with plenty of snack stations along the way to ensure everyone’s energy level was kept at a high.

Erskine provides fantastic support to injured servicemen and veterans in Scotland, with their caring services and facilities tailored to each veteran’s needs. Erskine are currently building 24 single living apartments in their Veterans Village to go alongside the 44 cottages, activity centre and 5 assisted living apartments.

The Kiltwalk allows anyone despite their ability to take part as you can have a ‘Wee Wander’, ‘Big Stroll’ or a ‘Mighty Stride’, these walks vary from 5 to 26 miles with each starting off at different locations and ending in Duthie Park.

The Kiltwalk attracts people from all over Scotland with events taking place in Glasgow, Aberdeen, Dundee and Edinburgh, allowing individuals to raise funds for their own chosen charity. All funds raised are topped up by the The Hunter Foundation by an additional 40% This year the Kiltwalk Aberdeen saw over 3,200 walkers take on the 26 miles to raise an amazing £800,000.00 for local North East Charities.
