Motive elevates South American presence

Motive Offshore Group (Motive) is stepping up its expansion strategy with a new base in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil.
Establishing Motive Do Brasil Ltda is a key milestone in Motive’s commitment to the region, aligning operations with the needs of Southern American clientele to ensure a more agile and personalised service.
Recognising the value of local expertise, Motive appointed experienced Lead Inspector Luis Ferrari as Operations Manager (South America) in June 2023, with Luis taking responsibility for establishing core services in Brazil.
With boots on the ground and equipment in-country, all core services are now available locally and beyond, including LOLER inspection, NDT, load testing, DROPS Inspection, rope access, wire rope management, spooling, crane wire rope EMAG, wire rope change out, and socketing.
We are excited to grow our footprint into Brazil. Establishing Motive Do Brasil Ltda allows us to better serve our clients across South America, extending local availability of Motive equipment and expertise. We look forward to getting further established in the year ahead, growing our Brazil team, and developing new partnerships.

2024 Look ahead
Motive is braced for further expansion, increasing available services across locations to deliver the same model globally. This includes expanding services such as umbilical testing, eddy current, and phased array, while continuing to develop niche offerings.
