Full steam ahead in the kitchen with Motive during Ramadan

It's not the usual setting to find Team Motive, but this week we were full steam ahead in the kitchen, helping local company Classic Catering distribute Iftar meals across UAE during Ramadan.
During the month of Ramadan, Muslims fast all day between dawn and evening. Directly after sunset, a meal known as Iftar is enjoyed with family, or often shared as a community, with many Muslims viewing the feeding of people as a noble and charitable act.
Organised by Chef and Owner Bobby Kapoor, Classic Catering has been running its Iftar Meals Initiative since 2015. Aimed at supporting their local community throughout the entire month of Ramadan - and particularly at reaching those most in need - the company endeavours to see that everyone has access to a nutritious meal following their daily fast.
Classic Catering provides the use of their kitchen for the entire month where, along with an army of volunteers, Bobby and his family prepare, pack, and distribute a staggering amount of food. For 2022 their target is to donate 150,000 meals, all of which are generously funded by local businesses and donations from the public.
This week Motive Offshore Group donated meals for 250 people and joined forces with Classic Catering for the day, helping prepare 5,000 meals during our stint in the kitchen.
Team Motive is honoured to be part of such an inspiring initiative, uniting the community in the spirit of friendship and generosity.
