Recently our FZE team in Dubai undertook a major project to fully refurbish a RAM AW6500GL Pneumatic Air Winch. Although mechanically sound, its exterior condition was in much need of some TLC.
The Project
Working over a couple of months, Siedu Mamoud led the project and was assisted by Marcello Catalan and our workshop team at the Motive FZE base, to fully restore the Pneumatic Winch.
The winch was completely dismantled to component form and serviced/repaired where necessary with new gaskets and seals added during assembly. Since photographs were taken, lifting points and slings have been attached and a FAT carried out to re-commission the unit which is now available for rental or sale.
The RAM AW6500GL Pneumatic Air Winch is capable of 6Te line pull when fitted with 400 metres of 19mm wire, although this can be altered depending on the amount of wire fitted.
We think you'll agree the team did a fantastic job in restoring the unit back to its former glory.
Refurbishment service

We can also carry out any custom modifications as required.
Motive are never averse to trying something new so even if your equipment falls outwith the marine/deck equipment arena, that isn't to say we can't help.
