As a Welder/Fabricator, you will play a key role in the smooth running of production, working efficiently and competently to ensure that tasks are completed as per the company Work in Progress (WIP) List. The post holder will ensure products are manufactured efficiently and ensure all work is carried out in compliance with relevant Health and Safety guidelines.

You will be supported by our Fabrication Chargehand, and have a team of skilled Welder/Fabricators working alongside you, whose goal, much like your own, will be to enable a quick and safe turn-around of equipment.

As Lead Equipment Operator, your role will be to commission and operate equipment in a competent and professional manner, communicating effectively with the client and Operations Department at all times.
The Lead Equipment Operator will ensure products are operated efficiently, within the allocated scope of works and equipment operational limits. They will ensure all work is carried out in compliance with relevant HSEQ guidelines.
The work our Offshore team do is where everything we do, comes together. From the Manufacturing to Sales, Logistics to Finance, it all comes to fruition when you and your team are operating the equipment based on the project requirements. You’ll be the one responsible for the safe & efficient use of our equipment, and as Lead Operator, both your team, clients and subcontractors will look to you for support, guidance and expertise.

You’ll be joining a hardworking and skilled team, who are used to working to high standards specifications of work. As part of our team of offshore Equipment Operators, you’ll be supported by our Personnel Logistics Manager and our projects for the UK & Europe.

- Stocktake equipment on arrival at worksite, communicating any anomalies and or damage to the client and Company
- Commission equipment at worksite and perform load test operations as per the clients’ requirements, completing all necessary paperwork.
- Operate equipment as per clients’ instructions, ensuring all daily checks and paperwork are completed.
- Complete required onsite paperwork such as post installation checks & maintenance records.
- Complete DCSR sheets in full, with accurate times and descriptions including any observations, delays, damages, daily activities obtaining signed approval from the client.
- Demobilise equipment at the worksite and prepare for shipping, completing any necessary cargo manifests.
- Trouble shoot equipment breakdowns, investigate and rectify
- Hand in project paperwork and expenses in a timely manner post project.
- Engage in any other reasonable activity as requested by Management
- To attend project briefings & de-briefings.
- To attend client inductions/HIRA’s as and when required.
- To complete online client inductions and training as and when required.
- To participate in internal and external training courses where identified.
- Attend client FAT’s when requested.

- Offshore certification Including OGUK survival, applicable medical or seamans health certificate

The Project Manager has a crucial role in ensuring the success of projects by coordinating with various departments and subcontractors. The cross-functional collaboration is essential for meeting deadlines and maintaining efficiency.
As part of this role, the Project Manager will support our operations and projects in Norway & wider Scandinavia, providing commercial and technical support for our Rentals and Certification & Inspection services in this region.

The Certification & Inspection Manager for Motive Offshore Group's APAC region is a dual-function role, responsible for both technical service delivery and commercial leadership within the Certification & Inspection division. The position plays a key role in driving business growth, ensuring high-quality inspection services, and delivering technical excellence for client and company assets, in line with project requirements.
This position will lead our Technical Sales requirements, generating and qualifying leads, and ensuring customer satisfaction in line with the company’s Quality Management System.
It will also provide support to the Certification and Inspection division's operational activities, ensuring successful project execution. This will include conducting visual, Non-Destructive Testing (NDT), and Magnetic Rope Testing (MRT) inspections of Motive APAC and client equipment to the highest standard. The role will also commission and operate spooling winches and associated equipment, ensuring all operations are performed within established safety and operational standards while maintaining clear and effective communication with clients and the Operations Department.

- Visual Inspections: Perform thorough visual assessments of rental fleet and lifting equipment.
- Equipment Management: Oversee the maintenance, management, and certification processes for equipment.
- Database Administration: Maintain and update the Motive online certification database accurately.
- Non-Destructive Testing: Conduct NDT on rental fleet equipment to ensure integrity and compliance.
- Workshop Support: Assist with general workshop duties as and when required.
- Wire Rope Operations: Support tasks including spooling, inspection, and socketing of wire ropes
- Field Inspections: Carry out visual inspections of lifting equipment and accessories at various sites.
- Advanced Testing: Execute non-destructive testing and magnetic rope testing on site.
- Database Utilization: Use the Motive online certification database for remote equipment management.
- Wire Rope Maintenance: Manage wire rope spooling, socketing, and inspection tasks.
- Crane Operations: Facilitate the removal and installation of crane wire ropes.
- Global Engagement: Participate in offshore operations and work assignments across international locations as required.
Required skills / knowledge:
- Proven technical knowledge of Motive product lines
- Previous experience in sales with the ability to achieve and exceed targets.
- Strong knowledge of the principles and practices of sales.

About the role:
Location: Boyndie, Banff
Hours: Full-time
The Hydraulic Technician will inspect, repair, assemble and test hydraulic equipment as required in accordance with company procedures. They will undertake a variety of tasks that involve the manufacture and maintenance of hydraulic systems. The post holder will ensure products are manufactured efficiently, within the allocated delivery schedule as per operational planner and ensure all work is carried out in compliance with relevant Health and Safety guidelines.

The work you do ensures our Equipment runs safely and the key responsibilities you will have every day will see you become involved in some key projects for our clients. About the team:
As a part of our Manufacturing team, you’ll become part of a hardworking, and skilled team who are always working to high standards and specifications. You will be supported by our Hydraulic Chargehand, and have a team of skilled Hydraulic Technicians working alongside you, whose goal, much like your own, will be to enable a quick and safe turn-around of equipment.
And you’ll be working alongside a committed and proud Motive team in the UK and globally that want to play their part in the growth of the business and support each other daily to create a positive, values driven and hard-working professional environment.
Responsibilities:
People
- Adopting the Motive Offshore Group People Values and ensuring their use is embedded throughout day-to-day tasks and decision making.
- Develop strong working relations with key stake-holders – clients, colleagues etc.
- Liaising and building relationship with the client whilst at the worksite.
Planet
- Adhere to and promote Motive's sustainability initiatives, contributing to Net Zero objectives
- HSEQ – compliance with health, safety and environmental regulations, and the company’s management system.
- Adherence to client safe working practices and quality assurance systems
- To be a positive ambassador for Motive Offshore Group Ltd.
Product
- Assist with troubleshooting on, mechanical, hydraulic and pneumatic systems.
- Inspect and overhaul valves, motors, pumps and other hydraulic components.
- Continually demonstrate safe operation of hydraulic test equipment.
- Maintain housekeeping in workshop. Ensure all work areas are clean and tidy including company transport.
- Safe operation of machinery, hand tools, lifting equipment and ensure job materials and equipment are correctly used.
- Learn to understand assembly drawings complete with bills of material and hydraulic schematics.
- Report any problems that have occurred or any questions that you may have to the Production Manager.
Required skills / knowledge:
- Clean driving license.
- Time served/significant experience in a hydraulic technician role.
- Proficient in stainless steel tube bending is desirable.
- Hydraulic fault finding & diagnosis would be advantageous.
- Fault diagnosis skills
- HNC (or equivalent) in engineering trade or relevant trade experience.
- Good time management.
- Ability to work on own initiative and as part of a team.
- Good communication skills.
- Ability to prioritise.
- Understanding of processes.
- Excellent attention to detail.
- Self-motivated and confident.

About the role:
Location: Hybrid/Aberdeenshire
Hours: 37.5 hours per week
Reporting to the Europe Controller, the Assistant Accountant will be responsible for supporting the daily, month-end, and year-end financial operations of the business. The role will ensure the accuracy of financial statements and perform a range of accounting duties within the Finance Team for the Europe region and the wider group.
This role will provide exposure to a broad range of financial operations across multiple regions and the wider global group. You’ll have the opportunity to collaborate with experienced finance professionals, develop your technical accounting skills, and gain valuable insight into international reporting processes.

As an Assistant Accountant, you will undoubtedly be a key contributor in continuing that.

- Lead by example in setting the highest possible standards in the promotion of People Values, HSEQ procedures and best practice, ensuring compliance to the Motive Offshore Group HSEQ Policy, procedures, standards and regulatory obligations.
- Immediately report all accidents, incidents, near misses or environmental concerns
- Adhere to and participate in company-wide sustainability policies, procedures and initiatives as they are developed to support our Net Zero objectives.
Product
- Raise and issue 3rd party sales invoices in a timely and accurate manner
- Credit Control responsibilities to include dealing promptly to client queries, issue client account statements, and establish regular communication with clients to facilitate payment for upcoming or overdue invoices and updating Weekly Debtors report with regular updates
- Adhere to monthly reporting timetable including preparation of journal entries with supporting back up
- Complete month end tasks as per timetable
- Assist accounts payable processing during busier times and holiday cover
- Ad hoc projects and support wider Finance Team as requested by FD or Europe Controller
Required skills / knowledge:
- Previous experience in a Finance environment.
- Strong communication skills – verbal and written.
- Ability to work with staff in Finance and non-Finance roles
- Ability to work to tight deadlines.
- Previous experience in an Accounts Payable/Accounts Receivable role
- Self-starter with the ability to manage their own workload
- Finance system knowledge, Sage 200 experience is an advantage.
