As Workshop Supervisor, you will be overseeing and managing all activities related to Motive Offshore Group Rental Fleet services.
This role will ensure the effective running of the Rental Fleet along with rental equipment and will ensure products are maintained, operated efficiently, ready for client hire within the allocated delivery schedule as per rental planner. The Workshop Supervisor must ensure all work is carried out in compliance with relevant Health, Safety and Quality guidelines.

Responsibilities:
People
- Adopting the Motive Offshore Group People Values and ensuring their use is embedded throughout day-to-day tasks and decision making.
- Leading a team of Technicians to support all projects including performance reviews, training and delegation of tasks.
- To attend project briefings & de-briefings.
- Maintain communication with Production Manager with regards to the schedule of projects, and resources required to complete rental projects.
- Liaise with Project Admin Team to confirm project deliverables.
- Communicate with other departments within the operations.
- Develop strong working relations with key stake-holders – clients, colleagues etc.

- Participate in and ensure safe systems of work (e.g. risk assessments) are in place and understood by all direct reports and subcontractors
- Ensure proper off-hire of returned equipment; ensure stocktake of equipment on arrival at worksite, communicating any anomalies and or damage to the Project Admin Team
- To be a positive ambassador for Motive Offshore Group Ltd.
Product
- Have overall responsibility for all activities performed in the Rental Fleet
- Ensure proper commission of equipment at worksite and perform load test operations as per the clients’ requirements, completing all necessary paperwork.
- Ensure all equipment certification, documentation is complete prior to equipment leaving site.
- To liaise and build rapport with the client whilst at the worksite.
- Complete required onsite paperwork such as post installation checks & maintenance records.
- Carry out pre and post shift tool box talks.
- Ensure employees are suitably trained and experienced for the task they are allocated.
- Carry out maintenance of rental equipment.
Required skills / knowledge:
- Experience of working in a Manufacturing and/or Rentals Environment
- Similar experience within a supervisory role.
- Background in planning & scheduling of projects
- Ability to read, understand and disseminate technical drawings and converse with the technical requirements of the task in hand.
- Experience of working in a technical or service role within an offshore environment is preferred
- Ability to prioritise workload & strong organisation skills.
- The ability to influence and communicate effectively with all levels of staff.
- The ability to build strong working relationships, internal and external to the organisation.
- Well-developed coaching and leadership skills, both on a formal and informal basis.
- Good judgement and decision making skills.

- Ability to read, understand and disseminate technical drawings and converse with the technical requirements of the task in hand.
- Identify and provide appropriate tools and equipment, instruction and technical data to operatives.
- Assist in the Mobilisation and FAT process as and when required
- Liaise with other departments and individuals required to support the programme.
Required skills / knowledge:
- Experience of operating Spooling and Winch equipment
- Time served in a mechanical role preferred
- Mechanical and hydraulic experience
- Good knowledge of hydraulic components is essential
- Forklift License B1, B2, B3 preferred
- Experience of leading a team in a technical environment is preferred.
- Good IT skills is a must
- Ability to trouble shoot and problem solve
- The ability to build strong working relationships, internal and external to the organisation.
- Ability to work on own initiative and as part of a team.
- Attention to detail with strong organisation skills.

This role involves supporting the managing of budgets, reviewing contracts, handling variations, and ensuring compliance with project policies and procedures. The individual collaborates closely with project managers, clients, and other stakeholders to maintain project integrity and ensure successful outcomes.

Reporting into Certification & Inspection Division Manager who is based in the UK, you’ll be working alongside an operations team that strive for high quality service of work.

- Work closely with project managers, engineers, and finance teams to ensure project objectives are met.

- Experience of working within a Subsea environment & supporting client with similar equipment would be advantageous

The Sales Administrator will contribute, support and administer sales enquiries, ensuring that quotes are prepared, reviewed and issued in accordance with Client requests and internal processes. The Certification and Inspection Technician is responsible for conducting comprehensive visual, Non-Destructive Testing (NDT), and Magnetic Rope Testing (MRT) inspections of Motive FZE’s and client equipment. Reporting into Operations Manager Norway, you’ll be working alongside an operations team that strive for high quality service of work.

Responsibilities:
People
- Adopting the Motive Offshore Group People Values and ensuring their use is embedded throughout day-to-day tasks and decision making.
- Liaise with other departments and individuals required to support the programme.
- Develop strong working relations with key stake-holders – clients, colleagues etc.
Planet
- Safe operation of machinery, hand tools, lifting equipment and ensure job materials and equipment are correctly used.
- To be a positive ambassador for Motive Offshore Group Ltd.
Product
- Mobilisation of all rental fleet equipment in accordance with the Rental Equipment Mobilisation and Demobilisation procedure.
- Demobilising of all off hire equipment returning to onshore in accordance with the Rental Equipment Mobilisation and Demobilisation procedure.
- Offloading equipment returned from client locations.
- Quarantining and tagging off hire equipment in line with the Product Identification and Tagging Procedure
- Upkeep of and completion of demobilisation paperwork including the recording of missing or damaged equipment
- Performing and documenting inspections of demobbed equipment
- Identifying and undertaking required repairs and maintenance of demobbed equipment
- Servicing and undertaking planned preventive maintenance of the rental fleet equipment and any other equipment deemed necessary.
- Ensuring all service and maintenance records are completed and uploaded within the company IT software system.
- Testing of equipment including flow / pressure testing hydraulic systems and flushing
- Ensuring regular communication with Operations Manager.
- Ability to read, understand and disseminate technical drawings and converse with the technical requirements of the task in hand.
- Identify and provide appropriate tools and equipment, instruction and technical data to operatives.
- Assist in the Mobilisation and FAT process as and when required on/offshore.
Required skills / knowledge:
- Time served in a mechanical role preferred
- Mechanical and hydraulic experience
- Good knowledge of hydraulic components is essential
- Forklift License
- Driving license
- Good IT skills is a must
- Ability to trouble shoot and problem solve
- The ability to build strong working relationships, internal and external to the organisation
- Ability to work on own initiative and as part of a team
- Attention to detail with strong organisation skills

About the role:

Hours: Variable based on set contract
As a Trainee Inspector, you will provide operational support to Motive Spooling and Inspection to ensure smooth transition and running of active jobs and verify that all tasks are completed as per the Work in Progress list. The Trainee Inspector will ensure all work is carried out in compliance with relevant HSEQ guidelines

As a part of our Certification & Inspection team, you’ll become part of a small, hardworking, and skilled team who are used to working collaboratively and to high standards. you'll be supported by our Technical Authority and Operations teams in Kintore, who care deeply about what they do & the impact they have on the services we provide.

Responsibilities:

- Liaising and building relationship with the client whilst at the worksite.

- HSEQ – compliance with health, safety and environmental regulations, and the company’s management system.
- Adherence to client safe working practices and quality assurance systems
- To be a positive ambassador for Motive Offshore Group Ltd.
Product
- Maintaining spooling equipment
- Preparing wire rope samples for destruction testing
- Assisting with the necessary pre and post checks of equipment being mobilised / demobilised
- Providing general assistance within the workshop and yard areas
- Attending project briefings & de-briefings.
- Attending client inductions/HIRA’s as and when required.
- Completing online client inductions and training as and when required.
- When capable, carry out spooling activities such as wire rope and cable removal, change out and installation
- When capable, carry out various rope access works such as inspection and NDT in a safe and efficient manner.
- When capable, carry out routine surveys, inspections and load testing of lifting equipment and their accessories and the immediate reporting of defects or concerns
- When capable, carry out visual, and NDT examination and pressure lubrication of all types of high performance wire ropes in accordance with working procedures and COSHH Assessments.
- Participating in internal and external training courses where identified.
- Completing DCSR sheets in full, with accurate times and descriptions obtaining signed approval from the client.
- Handing in project paperwork and expenses to MSIL Operations Team in a timely manner post project.
- Driving personnel to and from airport or client premises, delivery and picking up goods
Required skills / knowledge:
- Clean driving license.
- Working towards suitable NDT certification (PCN Level II).
- Working towards offshore certification.
- Planning and Operational knowledge.
- Ability to work on own initiative and as part of a team.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Ability to prioritise.
- Must be safety conscious and apply a good quality approach to their work.
